E220 Z Splice Plate will replace the E218 Splice Plate effective by December 1, 2007
The plate has a "Z" fold on both sides for simplified splicing of ZMesh Heating Element. The ZMesh slides into each Z fold, is gently crimped or compressed, and then soldered as usual. Always keep the flame of the soldering torch on the "Z" fold and never on the ZMesh.
