Icicles, ice dams, and snow slides are all dangerous and destructive consequences of living in snow country. Heatizon Systems produces the perfect long term solutions to ice and snow build up on roofs with a complete portfolio of “invisible” roof snow melting and deicing products. The Weather Watcher sensor complements those products. It is a thin, low voltage, precipitation and temperature sensor (measuring 3.5” x 6” x .025”)which can easily be installed between two layers of shingles, while keeping the main controller in a more convenient or protected location. The Weather Watcher controls are housed in a two gang PVC enclosure. The overall dimensions of the Weather Watch main control are 4¾"(120) x 7"(178) x 2¾"(70). |

Convenience |
Heating your roof eaves and valleys with a Heatizon System is worry free when the Weather Watcher is added to the system. The sensor is specifically designed for detecting snow and freezing rain. When the ambient air temperature is below 39°F, and precipitation is detected, the Weather Watcher controller will activate the Heatizon System Tuff Cable, ZMesh and/or GutterMelt, turning it on to melt ice and snow. The Weather Watch controls will turn the Heatizon System off when the temperature reaches 39°F or the sensor is dry for 30 to 90 mintues, depending on the selected delay settings. Day or night, if you’re home or away, Weather Watcher provides worry free activation for round the clock protection.
