HEATIZON SYSTEMS – Salt Lake City, Utah USA

Murray, Utah – Heatizon Systems is pleased to announce that its premier distributor, Warmquest, was the recipient of an unprecedented three awards at the Radiant Panel Associations annual Project Showcase Banquet held last week.

Each year the Radiant Panel Association holds a contest to showcase select radiant heating, radiant floor warming and radiant roof snow and ice melt projects in the United States and Canada. On Saturday, August 16, 2008 in Chicago, IL, the Radiant Panel Association announced this year’s Showcase Awards winners and presented Warmquest with three attractive trophies.

Warmquest, a full line Heatizon Systems distributor, was proud to accept an award for each of the Utah based projects it entered. The winning projects submitted by Warmquest included commercial as well as residential applications.

In the “Electric Radiant” category Warmquest won First Place for the electric snow melting at the Jordan Valley Water Treatment Plant. The Jordan Valley Water Treatment Plant used Heatizon Systems Tuff Cable radiant heating element in new pour concrete for its main visitor and employee entrance sidewalk areas.

A Second Place award in the “Simplicity” category was accepted by Warmquest for the Gamble Residence which used Heatizon Systems ZMesh heating element to heat its newly finished basement. ZMesh is an ideal product to effectively heat basements because it requires no floor build up, it can be installed under almost any floor covering, and, if designed and installed correctly, it is robust enough to both warm the floor and heat the entire living space.

The Third Place award in the “Retrofit” category was given to Warmquest for its driveway and sidewalk retrofit snow melt project at the Fox Residence. Low voltage Tuff Cable was installed into existing concrete giving the home owner a snow melt system without the expense and mess associated with tearing out and replacing perfectly good concrete.

Warmquest was represented at the awards banquet by Mike Bench.
