Many buildings use a pedestal paver system to create an open-air space on roofs and other locations. Winter weather has made these open-air spaces unusable and causes drainage issues. Heatizon’s patented pedestal paver snow melting system is the solution to quickly remove ice and snow in these spaces.
Heatizon’s system uses an engineered pan system in conjunction with our Hott-Wire cable to provide heat the pavers. Voltage available for use with this system are 208/240/277 or 480 ensuring maximum flexibility. The generated heat from the cable is efficiently transferred to the paver via the insulated pan below. Various size pavers are not an obstacle to using this system, with several paver sizes can be accommodated.
The newly heated pavers melt snow/ice, encouraging effective drainage. Team this system up with Invizimelt, Zmesh, or GutterMelt to avoid all drainage issues.
This system is sold only as a complete patented package which includes, the pan, some accessories (not the pedestals), The Hott-Wire heating element, GFEP protected relay panel(s) and an automatic activator, and ships with layouts to assist with the installation. In addition to a complete package, Heatizon gladly offers system design assistance and full project support.
