The Heatwave\u00ae Heating Cable comes in pre-established lengths that have been designed to deliver a specified heat density. Therefore, it is essential that all of the Heatwave\u00ae Heating Element contained in the kit be installed. Do not cut or alter the red heating cable in any way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to minimize the risk of damage to the Heatwave\u00ae Heating Cable, Heatizon Systems
recommends that the Heatwave\u00ae Cable be installed immediately prior to the installation of the cementitious material that goes over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never cross the Heatwave\u00ae Heating Cable over itself, the in-floor sensor wire, or any other conductor or wire.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When installing Heatizon Systems products, strict compliance with the National Electrical Code, local Building Codes, and Heatizon\u2019s Installation Manual is essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is highly recommend to take photographs to document the installed Heatwave\u00ae for future
reference before installing the flooring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
