Outpipe bulk SR cable and MI fixed-length cable carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Pre-configured 120V kits carry a 5-year warranty. The difference comes from the kit’s added components — the factory termination and plug — which have a shorter rated service life than the heating cable itself. The cable in both formats is identical; the warranty difference reflects the additional hardware that makes the kit plug-and-play.
