So you already have a house, and you want to install a radiant floor warming system. One problem, you can’t just rip your floor up to install it. While the majority of floor warming products are in floor radiant heat systems, they have to go in before the floor installation of the floor covering. Heatizon Systems was the first to develop a method with our versatile ZMesh product that can be installed underneath the floor in the joists that, when installed, effectively warms an area from below the floor of the room you wish to heat. This method is called radiant floor warming joists or retrofitting radiant floor warming!

ZMesh can be installed between floor joists from an unfinished basement or crawlspace — stapled to the underside of the subfloor — without disturbing the finished floor above. This is the only true retrofit method that requires no floor removal.

  • Low Voltage
  • 25 Year Warranty
  • Nail & Staple through

For slab heating retrofit — where access to the underside of a concrete slab is available — see Heatizon’s Cozy Heat slab heating system and the slab heating and heat loss prevention page.

Computer-based operation

A radiant heating system for joists can’t claim to be safe, efficient, or reliable unless there is a way to monitor it 24/7. Heatizon Systems low voltage radiant floor warming products are self monitoring providing the safest products in the industry.
